See dried Blood Come Alive

I like reocurring miracles that have lasted for hundreds of years. He he who lives in Christ shall never die.
Give glory to the Lord, ye children of Israel, and praise him in the sight of the Gentiles:
Because he hath therefore scattered you among the Gentiles, who know not him, that you may declare his wonderful works, Tobias 13: 3-4

The Miracle of San Gennaro was repeated on Monday when the blood of Naples' patron saint liquefied at 9.30am....The miracle takes place on the anniversary of the martyrdom of San Gennaro (St. Januarius) in September 305 AD.The dried blood of the saint is preserved in two glass phials and traditionally liquefies three times a year, the Church says, thanks to the devotion and prayers of the faithful. For the faithful and superstitious, the ritual's success is a good omen for the city while its failure is a sign of impending disaster. In fact, disaster has struck on at least five occasions when the blood failed to liquefy, including in 1527 when tens of thousands of people died from the plague and in 1980 when 3,000 people were killed in an earthquake which devastated much of southern Italy.[1]
What the secular article fails to say is that if God is angry with the city of Naples he does not grant them a miracle and chastises them. It makes sense that when God is displeased that it acts as an omen of Gods judgement but it should be viewed if it is not granted as a call to conversion before he judges harshly. If the miracle does occur it she encourage the faithful to pursue the hard road that leads to everlasting life. It was interesting to note that in the article it mentioned the entire city was there. To witness a miracle and to not convert onto Christ increases Gods wrath because the miracle was a message of mercy to convert. Conversion is not limited to the accepting of the Catholic faith but a greater love of Jesus Christ and conformity with his will.

But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. Matthew 11:24
To learn more about this great miracle here is a clip to a semi professional video done on it on you tube. It includes seeing the relic before and after the miracle.

Faith is Greater than Gold or Silver

Bodies are burdened in athletic pursuits for Glory but it means much less than those infirmities which we must bear with patience in the spirit of Christ Crucified.

This woman was a national gymnast who competed for her Italy and her abominable cancer was inoperable. Yet, the Glory of God would come forth in hear greater than in trinket won in sports.

Sr Enrichetta’s beatification was set in motion by a miracle. In February 1994, 18-year-old gymnast Stefania Copelli was dying of abdominal cancer. As she laid in bed, her aunt, a Sister of Charity, sat with her praying and placed a holy picture of Sr Enrichetta on her niece’s abdomen. The young woman got better, the cancer left her body and she is now a mother of two.

It is worth noting why God would chose to bring about this cure with the use of an image as opposed to just prayer. God is unable to deceive, and he wishes to be very clear about the instruments that bring about his grace. It is a consolation to those following the example of this Blessed Sister that if they are faithful they will obtain Heaven as their mother and friend did and that we might go to her the heavenly court to be our advocate. If a doctor treats a wound with medicine and it does not work and then treats a wound with another medicine and it immediately works it does not take a great leap of faith to believe the second medicine was more effective.

It is not just that the saint was invoked, but that many people saw that her picture was used. So the many would believe in her intercession.

So it is with the Saints as well. The Apostle Peter in the Acts of the Apostles need only to cast his shadow on a person for them to be healed by God.

Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that when Peter came, his shadow at the least, might overshadow any of them, and they might be delivered from their infirmities. Acts 5:15

Anyone Who Fled to thy Protection

I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel. Genesis 3 15

The fires of hell cannot conquer a soul that puts their trust in the protection of the Mother of God.

Christ is Mercy, so she is the Mother of Mercy
Christ is Grace, so she is the Mother of Grace
Christ is our Savior, so she is the Mother of our Salvation.

As scripture teaches us exterior miracles are performed so that we will believe in the invisible operations of God.

"Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee: or to say, Arise, and walk? But that you may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the man sick of palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house. And he arose, and went into his house. " Jesus the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity Matthew 9 5:7
Recently there has been a miracles involving statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary where massive out of control wildfires have stopped before reaching the statue and buildings that through the grace of God were protected. This is not the first time the Blessed Virgin Mary has saved a house of wood from being burned to the ground.

The Texas wildfire has been burning for days across Central Texas and has incinerated about 1,400 homes and tens of thousands of acres of land. It has burned every yard and everything on them in the Ranch Crest Subdivision of Montgomery County, Texas, CNN reported. “But miraculously all the homes here are still standing.”

The fire line came right up to a barely two-foot tall statue of the Virgin Mary placed on two stones and resting against a tree in the Garcia’s garden, and then stopped suddenly.[1]

Of course they had prayed before they left

“She protected our home, everybody’s homes. We prayed to it before we left to protect everybody’s homes,” he told CNN, pointing toward the statue outside his house.[1]

The Mother of God though has saved these homes from being consumed with physical fire. The divine message though was clear, that those who put their confidence in the Blessed Virgin Mary might find hope in being spared from the fires of Hell.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help or sought your intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother;
to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in your mercy hear and answer me.

Amen. (The Memorare by St Bernard of Clairvaux)

From Farm Boy to Sainthood

He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. Luke 1:52

If Kapaun is beatified, it will take one more recorded “alleged miracle” — other than the four the diocese has already reported — to elevate the former Pilsen, Kan., farm boy to sainthood, Ambrosi said. He would become the third American-born saint.
Like many of the Saints that have been canonized a very loyal following has developed for him as being a powerful intercessor.

He also thought it “incredible” that Kapaun has such a vocal and devout following in Wichita. Several Catholic parishes and many parishioners pray for Kapaun’s intercession with God every week at Masses, and many people call upon his intercession in prayers when loved ones become ill.
Reading some of the comments below the article prove why God does not use miracles endlessly. Even when presented with phenomena beyond explanation at the invocation of a simple persons name they still do not believe and wind up despising the Church and its children.

Brain dead is not dead

It is truly a deceit of the devil to suggest that a person who is in a sleep is dead. It is habitual to men to look for the excuse for sin and it is truly the mark of the demon when we can justify it as if we are being merciful.

The Blessed Trinity though always gives us cause for hope. God shall always hear the prayers of his faithful when they call on him!

A woman who was diagnosed as being brain dead has recovered three days after her husband begged doctors to put in a breathing tube before switching off a ventilator at an Australian hospital, the Northern Territory News reported Wednesday.

When a doctor recommended that the ventilator be removed and Gloria Cruz be allowed to die, her husband told them, "I'm a Catholic -- I believe in miracles"

A doctor described her recovery as "a miracle."

Mrs Cruz is now alert and getting around in a wheelchair at the hospital. [1]

"And he heard my prayers, and brought me out of the pit of misery and the mire of dregs. And he set my feet upon a rock, and directed my steps" Psalm 40:2

May God have Mercy on Us

There was a story about a man who committed suicide who had it televised on BBC. His end is very striking as it compares to one of the Parables of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Millionaire hotelier Peter Smedley, 71, was filmed swallowing a lethal dose of the barbiturate Nembutal - helped down with a praline chocolate.
He gasps for breath. Within a minute his face turns red and he chokes as he pleads for water.

Luke Chapter 16

19 There was a certain rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen; and feasted sumptuously every day. 20 And there was a certain beggar, named Lazarus, who lay at his gate, full of sores, 21 Desiring to be filled with the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table, and no one did give him; moreover the dogs came, and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell. 23 And lifting up his eyes when he was in torments, he saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom: 24 And he cried, and said: Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, to cool my tongue: for I am tormented in this flame. 25 And Abraham said to him: Son, remember that thou didst receive good things in thy lifetime, and likewise Lazareth evil things, but now he is comforted; and thou art tormented.

May the Lord have Mercy on us especially those who are in most need.

O My Jesus Forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of they mercy.

Another Miracle from Lourdes France

The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead rise again, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he that shall not be scandalized in me. (Matthew 11 5-6)

Television repair man Serge François, 40, said he felt a warm glow spread down his herniated leg during a visit to Lourdes in 2002.

He said he had been praying at the grotto where Bernadette Soubirous first had visions of the Virgin Mary in 1858, and all of his suffering suddenly disappeared.

Bishop Delmas said the bureau of medical experts at Lourdes had concluded that the recovery was “sudden, complete, unrelated to any particular therapy and durable”.....

More than 7,000 cases of unexplained healings have been recorded in Lourdes...

Our Lord Jesus Christ has never left his church nor will he abandon those who are not scandalized in him.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, pray for us.

Miracle in St. Louis

Our God is a God of suffering because he is a God of love. Through voluntary or long suffering through the crosses that God has given us we show our love for him.

Rachel Baumgartner Lozano suffered a lot buffer she was cured

Rachel Baumgartner Lozano was diagnosed with a rare and deadly cancer during her sophomore year in high school. It was 1998, and chances of beating the tumor growing on her spine were slim.

"It was shutting down my body," Lozano says. "I had to have emergency surgery. Then I went through a year of chemo and radiation."

That killed the cancer, but it came back -- with a vengeance.

"I had a life-threatening bone marrow transplant that I almost didn't survive, and then about a year and a half after that, (the cancer) came back between my heart, lung and spine," Lozano says.

This third recurrence was bad news. The cancer was in a spot too dicey to operate. Two years went by. Doctors managed her pain but knew she was terminal.

"In both cases, when a patient has a recurrence, survival is typically measured in days to weeks,"

However, God saw it fitting that through the intercession of Blessed Chaminade she might be cured.

Finally, the decision came to operate -- the last resort to try to save the then 21-year-old girl.

"(The surgeon) took out a tumor the size of a small football and sent the whole thing off -- in tact -- to the pathologist," Dr. Bergamini says. "And two days later, the pathologist called and said 'this is all scar tissue.' And it was just 'do you have the right patient?!' I said, 'what do you mean it's all scar tissue?' He said 'it's all scar tissue, it's dead.'"
And that makes Rachel wonder if prayer and a certain priest played just as big of a role as modern medicine. Daily, she asked Blessed Chaminade, a founder of the Marianist Order, to intercede on her behalf -- to cure her of the deadly cancer.

Through the intercession of Blessed Charminade may we be perserved in Health of Body and souls against the cancers of this world.

Blessed Charminade, pray for us!

The Grace of Jesus Christ within us. Pius XII

It is the Grace of Jesus Christ that is within men that enables them to do good actions. Jesus Christ said "None is good but God alone" (Luke18:19). Yet servants of God and truth have done good cooperating with the Grace of God throughout time. That is because God comes to dwell with us in our hearts "Behold, I stand at the gate, and knock. If any man shall hear my voice, and open to me the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Rev 3:20)

When God is unobstructed he can do many great things.

Pinchas Lapide´s enlightening study :[Lapide] was consul general of Israel in Milan and met with many Italian Jews who survived the Holocaust. In his work, Lapide documents how Pius XII worked for the salvation of at least 700,000 from the hands of the Nazis. However, according to another estimate, this figure rises to 860,000.[1]

That type of heroic charity is dumbfounding to say the least; Though it is not improbable when one considers that every Christian in imitating Christ must be willing to sacrifice himself even for the good of his enemies. However Pius XII is not dead and Jesus Christ continues to works through him today.

The woman's husband first prayed for the intercession Pope John Paul II, who was then only recently buried in the crypt of St. Peter's. It wasn't long before the Holy Father appeared to the woman's husband in a dream. The spouse described to Tornielli what he saw that night, "He had a serious face. He said to me, 'I can't do anything, you must pray to this other priest...' He showed me the image of a thin, tall, lean priest. I didn't recognize him; I didn't know who he might be."

Several days passed before he, "by chance," came across a picture of Pope Pius XII in a magazine and recognized him as the man John Paul II had shown him in the dream.

The man wasted no time in bombarding Pius XII with prayers for his wife's healing and following her very first treatments she was declared free of the cancer, the tumor had disappeared. In fact, she was cured so quickly that her doctors pondered the notion that they may have originally misdiagnosed the pathology.[2]

How great are Gods wonders. One might argue though that it is more amazing that Catholics who have prayed for the conversion of Jews sense the time of Christ, who identify the current Jewish religion as false for there rejection of the Messiah, and put themselves at risk of torture and death cooperated to save between 700 and 800 thousand Jews. As god removed them from harm from his servant Pope Pius XII from bodily harm may he bring there souls out of danger through his intercession.

Make Yourself Clean

Our Lady of Lourdes came at a time in France when skeptical atheism was gaining a great deal of ground. Once again the humble confounded the proud and the Miraculous healing waters of Lourdes continue to heal those today who put a child like confidence of the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to heal them of their ailments as a mother would tend to her injured child.

"And Eliseus sent a messenger to him, saying: Go, and wash seven times in the Jordan, and thy flesh shall recover health, and thee shalt be clean." 2 Kings 5:10

According to this source there are over 5000 miracles that have occurred at Lourdes. [1] Of course Eliseus in the Old testament initially refused to go and wash himself in the river to be cleansed of his leprosy.[1]

So as he turned, and was going away with indignation, His servants came to him, and said to him: Father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, surely thou shouldst have done it: how much rather what he now hath said to thee: Wash, and thou shalt he clean? Then he went down, and washed in the Jordan seven times: according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored, like the flesh of a little child, and he was made clean. Kings 5 13:14
Child like trust is irresistible to the Heavenly Father and with that a lack of trust is detestable. This type though of doubting a cure can be said of those who doubt other aspects. Doubting the forgiving waters of baptism, the forgiveness of sin, the presence of God in the Eucharist etc. With these regular miracles we are able to see it is possible for us to understand the supernatural operations of grace on our hearts and souls.

Here is a list of Miracles many dating up into Modern times of ones that were heavily investigated by Scientists.

One case

Born in 1910.

The Catholic Church has officially recognized the miraculous healing of an Italian woman who visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in France more than 50 years ago when she was suffering from a fatal form of rheumatic heart disease. Anna Santaniello, now 94, said her illness disappeared during a pilgrimage to the Marian shrine in 1952, reported ANSA. The international Catholic committee that runs the shrine has acknowledged Santaniello as the 67th person to officially healed at Lourdes. In 1964, the Church had declared her case an “extraordinary healing.” Archbishop Gerardo Pierro of Salerno, in southern Italy where Santaniello lives, announced the Church's decision on Sunday at mass. After the mass, Santaniello told the daily Il Giornale that she was diagnosed with the disease as a child and the same illness had killed one of her brothers and a sister. "My condition got worse as I got older and after a while I was confined to bed, barely able to breathe. The doctors had lost all hope for me," she reportedly said.
